Excessive exposure to sun can cause damage to the skin and render it dull and lifeless. Although we know that sun is a natural source of Vitamin D, however the rays are beneficial only during the early morning hours from 7 am to 9 am. After this time the UV rays become quite strong, especially from the period of 10 am – 2 pm. It has been found that excessive exposure to UV rays can also lead to skin cancer. Hence it is best to avoid sun as much as possible and always use a good quality sunscreen lotion with SPF over 45 when you step out.
