- 1/2 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- refined oil as required
- 1 green chilli
- 2 teaspoon peppercorns
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 medium onion
- 1/4 cup refined flour
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- salt as required
How to make Onion Rava Masala Dosa
- Step 1. Prepare the dosa batter. In a bowl, add all ingredients (semolina, rice flour, maida, ginger, green chilli, black pepper, and cumin seeds) and mix in water. Make the batter of thin running consistency.
- Step 2. Cook the dosa and serve hot. Heat a non-stick pan and add some oil. Pour a portion of the batter onto the pan and then spread it into a thin layer to form the dosa.
- Step 3. Add onion to the dosa. Immediately, sprinkle it with chopped onion and add 1 tsp ghee over it. Let the dosa cook on medium heat until it is golden brown. Do not flip the dosa, just fold and serve hot.
