Bombay Toast

Need a quick and easy snack that can satiate your cravings in a jiffy? Try this crispy Indian style French toast, which is also popularly called Bombay Toast. Made with just bread, sugar, eggs and milk, this recipe can be made with easily available kitchen ingredients. Garnish with some strawberries and enjoy it with your loved ones. You can have it for breakfast or for snack during tea time


  • 4 slices bread slices
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 medium strawberry
  • 2 egg
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey ( optional)

How to make Bombay Toast

  • Step 1. Prepare the batter. Break the eggs in a bowl and add sugar to it. Whisk well to form a batter.
  • Step 2. Cook the toast. Put a pan on medium flame. Dip the bread slices from both sides in the batter and put them on the pan. Cook from both sides until golden-brown and crisp.
  • Step 3. Garnish the Bombay Toast with chopped strawberries, little honey and serve
