Paratha with Sugar Filling is an interesting lunch/dinner recipe. Made with sugar, it is an easy recipe that can be served with any side dish recipe.


  • 100 gm wheat flour
  • 4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 teaspoon ghee

How to make Paratha with Sugar Filling

  • Step 1. Make dough of the atta with salt and water. Add 1 tsp of oil while making the dough. Now take one small dough and roll it into a circle.
  • Step 2. Spread some ghee or oil on it. Sprinkle sugar. Fold it into a semi circle. And fold it further so that a triangular shape is formed.
  • Step 3. Now roll this further and make the paratha on a preheated tawa. When the paratha starts turning golden brown, add some ghee or oil. Remove it from the tawa.
  • Step 4. Serve it hot. One can always think of replacing sugar with jaggery. It’s a bit tedious, but tastes amazing.
