Having a patchy skin is also a form of fungal infection. These fungal infections can be caused by various reasons. Even in some cases, they re-appear even after good treatment. So prepare a home-made remedy for patchy skin and use it on alternate days to completely recover from patchiness.

  • Mix ground almond with curd in a bowl. Rub this paste gently on the skin.
  • Leave it on for 5 minutes and wash it off with water.

Excessive exposure to sun can cause damage to the skin and render it dull and lifeless. Although we know that sun is a natural source of Vitamin D, however the rays are beneficial only during the early morning hours from 7 am to 9 am. After this time the UV rays become quite strong, especially from the period of 10 am – 2 pm. It has been found that excessive exposure to UV rays can also lead to skin cancer. Hence it is best to avoid sun as much as possible and always use a good quality sunscreen lotion with SPF over 45 when you step out. Also you must wear loose fitting cotton clothes and carry an umbrella whenever possible.
